Warri Wolves Joseph Osadiaye has said he will be the happiest man to score the match winner against his former side, Akwa United when both teams lock horns in a rescheduled Glo Nigerian Premier League Matchday 16 game on September 4 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.

The Seasiders striker said his side will go for the maximum three points to climb to the summit of the league table.

“I know I’m going to score against Akwa United but I’ll be the happiest man to score the winning goal that will nail them. We’re going to beat Akwa United for the three points to go clear at the top of the log.

“Three points will see us leapfrog leaders, Kano Pillars while we’ll come back home to cement our position with another three points against Enyimba in Matchday 24 game in Warri,” Osadiaye told supersport.com

“The expected victory in the Week 16 tie against the Uyo-based side will define the direction for the mother of all battle in the Federation Cup semifinal.

“We’re battle-ready for Akwa United both in the league as well as the Federation Cup and our resolve is to win all the encounters,” said Osadiaye.

Wolves are second on the 20-team league with 37 points, two points adrift leaders, Kano Pillars on 39 points.
