Last year’s finalists Lobi Stars have progressed to the quarter final of the 2013 Federation Cup competition after edging out ABS of Ilorin 5-4 on penalties at the Bako Kotangora Stadium, Minna.

Abubakar Bukola Saraki, ABS, had pegged Bayelsa United with similar margin in the round of 32 game decided in Benin lastweek, but were unlucky this time from the penalty spot as they were edge out by Lobi Stars 5-4 after the regulation time.

Macaulay Iloh’s 41 minute strike was all Nasarawa United needed to beat Sunshine Stars in Lokoja.
